Cook Like a Chef

This innovative, ground-breaking series features five young chefs as they explore and explain a myriad of cooking techniques. Set in a dramatic cooking environment, Cook like a Chef is about how to cook (as opposed to what to cook). Breaking down the fourth wall, every imaginable technique, tip, and kitchen secret is revealed.

A must-see television experience for anyone interested in the art of cooking.

Over six seasons and 185 episodes, Cook Like a Chef has featured 13 chefs. Season 6 introduced Katie Ardington, Natalia Machado, Craig Wong and Derek Dammann.

Season 6

The new season of COOK LIKE A CHEF is more homage than retread; still carefully constructed on the same foundation of classical technique as the original, it is also improved by the inclusion of modernist innovations, diverse cultural influences, and a nod to newer attitudes linking good food to good health. To guide us through this exploration, we meet Canada’s finest up and coming chefs: Derek Dammann, Natalia Machado, Katie Ardington, and Craig Wong. Join them as they combine the highest quality ingredients to create a dish, and a show, worthy of any table.

Celebrity Chef Michael Bonacini is the co-founder of one of Canada’s leading fine dining restaurant companies, Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants, operating 11 unique and innovative restaurants in Ontario. Bonacini trained classically under Chef Anton Mosimann at London’s Dorchester Hotel, before immigrating to Canada in 1985 and partnering with veteran restaurateur Peter Oliver in 1993.
