Established in 1889, The Gladstone Hotel is a prominent part of the city’s history. With its iconic red-brick walls, one of Toronto’s last remaining hand-operated elevators and a honeymoon suite that boasts panoramic views of the city’s skyline, it’s hard to imagine a better photo-op for these T.O. lovebirds?
But the stunning visuals don’t end there: The Gladstone also doubles as an art gallery and boutique, which means the space comes fully decorated with one-of-a-kind artwork and totally unique furniture. They also employ seasonal chefs in residence, so the cuisine should be up to food blogger Gerry’s sky-high standards. And although the hotel typically doesn’t allow outside vendors, it has agreed to waive the rule so Gerry can share some of his favourite local eats with his guests.
It sounds almost too good to be true for Katie and Gerry, but there’s a catch: The party has to end at midnight out of respect for the hotel guests upstairs. Katie doesn’t mind the cut-off time, but Gerry’s not so sure.
Can Tommy and Katie convince him The Gladstone is the perfect place for their big day? Stream full episodes of Where to I Do? on CTV.ca starting December 8.
