Who would have imagined that there was a beautiful Spanish-inspired hacienda oasis in the middle of an industrial park in Southern Ontario? Maria and Nato wanted to get married in old-world Mexico and they got exactly that. Well, almost. The venue may be approximately 4,000 miles north of Mexico City but you wouldn’t believe it from the view.
Hacienda Sarria in Kitchener, ON – with its historical charm, brilliant architecture, expansive garden and starlit courtyard — became the perfect backdrop for this couple’s “I do’s” with a little bit of help from Tommy Smythe. From the rustic garden ceremony, to the impeccable food service, to a night spent dancing under the stars, this reimagined factory offered everything Maria and Nato needed to put on an authentic Mexican-and-Italian soiree.
It took this couple a few years to get here, but the wait was totally worth it.
