Luke Nguyen was born in a refugee camp in Thailand after his parents had fled Vietnam, but he grew up in Sydney, Australia. That’s where where he learned to cook at his parents’ Cabramatta restaurant.
Luke is an acclaimed chef, has served as a guest chef on MasterChef Australia (Season 2), and is a judge on MasterChef Vietnam. In 2009, Luke co-founded the “Little Lantern foundation,” where he provides hospitality training programs to disadvantaged youths.
