Mary Tang was born in Hong Kong and grew up enjoying Chinese cuisines, alongside many others. Mary discovered her passion for cooking by helping her mom prepare large meals for friends and family. Today, Mary keeps the tradition alive by hosting her own dinner parties. Mary has received training from George Brown College’s Culinary Arts – Chef Training program and is currently completing a baking course. She runs the successful food blog Mary’s Happy Belly, where she shares her passions for all things food through recipes and restaurant reviews. Mary lives in Markham, Ontario with her husband and two children.
