Juan Pablo González- Host

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Juan Pablo started cooking at a young age, making Sunday lunches with the men in his family. By university, his classmates were paying him to make their meals. Juan Pablo is a talented artist and musician who first arrived in Canada to study Fine Arts and sculptures. It was there that Juan Pablo combined his artistic creativity with his passion for food. After preparing his Venezuelan specialty, arepas, for a local art event his culinary creations were in such high demand that he started a food cart business. Today, Juan Pablo is the proud owner of El Coroto Venezuelan Kitchen, a vegan food truck based in Vancouver.
